National EMS Recertification Requirements
At Distance CME™, our refresher and NCCR courses are live and interactive, and therefore meet all didactic requirements. All hours can be applied toward your National Registry re-certification. This is the ONLY place on the web where you can find a live course with true flexibility of scheduling to meet your busy schedule.
How it works: Sign up for the course. Check the calendar. Courses are offered days, nights, weekdays, and weekends to accommodate all schedules and times zones. Courses are taught in short, manageable blocks. Log on and take the courses one block at a time and in any order you choose. Once you finish the course hours, you are done. Print out your transcript, and submit it to National Registry. Enrollments are good for up to 24 months or course completion, whichever comes first. Plan ahead, and enjoy completing the courses at your own pace.
Please select your state from the list below to view your state-specific requirements. Distance CME powered by Relias makes every effort to ensure current information. However, as CE licensing requirements change frequently, we recommend you contact your licensing board (links provided) or accrediting organization to verify CE requirements of your state or territory.
Relias is an organization accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) provider number (GANN0031).
CAPCE was formerly known as the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).
Relias is also approved by the Florida Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Tennessee (provider # 50-1489). Because the Florida Bureau of EMS approves each course separately, please see each course for details of the approval.
