Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Requirements

  • Michigan EMS personnel certifications expire every three years. R 325.22316. For recertification, an application shall submit one of the following:
    • National Registry status if a licensee is currently nationally registered. R 325.22315. OR
    • Completion of an applicable refresher course or refresher examination. 325.22314 (2). OR
    • Completion of continuing education hours as listed by Michigan NCCP State/Local Criteria
    • REQUIRED: Pediatrics Medication Administration-Practical
