Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Emergency Medical Services Requirements

  • Although we strive to keep everything updated, please check with your state EMS Representative for the most current re-certification information.

  • Certification renewal is by March 31st or September 30th depending on when initial certification was completed.

    • EMR and EMT certification renewal is every three (3) years
    • AEMT and Paramedic certification renewal is every two (2) years
