Nevada State Health Division Requirements

Nevada licensees must renew every 2 years.  For recertification, an application shall submit one of the following:

  • Documentation of current registration by the National Registry.  NAC 450B.360(2).  OR
  • Completion of continuing education hours as listed below.  NAC 4508.366.

National Continued Competency Requirement (NCCR) to maintain NREMT certification and Nevada state licensure.

Requirements for Paramedics:

40 hours of continuing education every two years.  NAC 4508.366. Distance CME recomends this program Refresher


Requirements for Advanced EMTs (AEMT):

30 hours of continuing education every two years.  NAC 4508.366. Distance CME recomends this program Refresher


Requirements for EMTs:

24 hours of continuing education every two years.  NAC 4508.366. Distance CME recomends this program Refresher


Requirements for EMRs:

12 hours of continuing education every two years.   NAC 4508.366. Distance CME recomends this program Refresher
