Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services Requirements

Massachusetts requires licensees to meet NREMT National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requirements. 105 CMR 170.910(A)(5). National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) to maintain NREMT certification and Massachusetts state licenses.

Requirements for Paramedics:

60 hours of continuing education every two years 105 CMR 170.840(C)(2)(b). Enroll in our  MA ALS BUNDLE refresher course to fulfill these requirements. (NOTE: MA OEM Requires your state hours (LCCR) to be 100% live, this program only gives you the live hours for the National (NCCR) Component and Distributive hours) To fulfil these LCCR live hours requirements we recomend adding individual ALS courses that are not part of our ALS NCCP bundle.


Requirements for AEMT:

50 hours of continuing education every two years 105 CMR 170.820(C)(2)(b).
