Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Requirements

  • Louisiana requires all EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics to obtain and maintain a NREMT credential.   Licenses expire March 31 every two years for individuals who complete the license renewal process between January 1 and June 30.  Licenses expire March 31 every three years for individuals who complete the license renewal process between July 1 and December 31.  Title 46:XXXVIII  §301.
