Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board Requirements

  • Minnesota certifications must renew every 2 years.  §144E.28.  For recertification, an applicant shall submit one of the following:
    • Complete the United States Department of Transportation EMT refresher course and successful pass the practical skills test portion of the course OR
    • Complete the NCCP Model, which has been approved by the EMSRB Board OR
    • Completion of continuing education hours as listed above
